2021 isn’t just another year. It’s Year Zero. And there’s no category where that rings more true than finance. The pandemic has put money matters center stage, forcing finance to take a louder and leading role in every industry and every household. So as we look to what’s next, we’re reimagining finance not as a standalone category—but as the foundation for economic, social, and personal progress.
From upending traditional milestones and breaking the money taboo, to digital advancements transforming our entire relationship with money, the finance industry and making smart moves with the youth coming to age will be a crucial focus for the future success of the generation.
In this session we’ll cover three main areas. First, how learning is no longer reserved for the classroom, and how the proliferation of entertaining and easy-to-understand financial content on social platforms will widen access to financial literacy.
Second, how transparency and candor are defining a new era of finance. Youth will prioritize approachability in forging a relationship with financial partners.
And last, why money talk is becoming a wellness basic just like nutrition, sleep, and exercise. As finance gets the wellness makeover, Gen Z will demand money solutions that put health and happiness first.
