chabu Kapumba

Chabu Kapumba is a 19-year-old Zambian American focused on making meaningful contributions to supporting international development. Through her work at Senate Youth Council, South African Embrace Foundation Board of Directors, and leadership in youth activism - Chabu is passionate about exploring ways to improve democratic systems to support underserved communities. Chabu has had the opportunity to support organizations like U.N., Humanity 2.0, and federal Youth Constituency councils. Most recently, Chabu has dedicated time to helping Gen Z in creating systemic change at Civics Unplugged. She is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto looking to study political sciences and post-colonial states. She is now immersing herself in research, start up spaces, and sensemaking!
