Currently the Youth Banking Officer at JN Bank Limited in Jamaica, Shanna is tasked to promote financial literacy and empowerment to the nation's youths with key focus on the company’s youth banking initiatives.

She is a Digital Marketing, Promotions & Events Enthusiast and Youth Engagement Speaker who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from UWI, Mona and is certified in areas such as Supervisory Management, Project Management, Strategic Marketing and Social Media Strategies and is also a Certified Digital Marketing Professional by the EMERITUS Institute of Management (Executive Education Program at Columbia Business School).

In December 2020, she was selected from over 3,000 candidates from over 100 countries as a YouthLead Ambassador as part of the YouthPower2: Learning and Evaluation YouthLead Ambassador Network, a project funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) implemented by Making Cents International and its partners.
